What horse riding teaches you

We here at Bribie Island Road Saddle Club Inc. pride ourselves in being like nobody else and stepping outside the box in our unique and special way we have adapted our horse riding lessons with life lessons of responsibility, respect and compassion.
Students who take lessons here don’t just arrive with the horse all saddled up and ready to ride with the hard work already done for them, they learn the real skills that come with horsemanship and really caring for these beautiful creatures.
We have adapted our lessons this way to give our students the real horse experience as we know that most of our clients no matter their experience, would love to own a horse of their own one day and our horse care component of our lessons teach them valuable skills of grooming and tacking up pre-lesson and hosing down and untacking post-lesson so they learn what it is like to care for their very own horse for an hour with some fun and educational riding in between.
We really hope that you will come and take lessons with us and learn some valuable life skills too!

Horse Riding: For all ages and abilities

At the Bribie Island Rd Saddle Club Inc we believe horses and horse riding should be enjoyed by everyone, no matter your age or experience.

We offer horse riding lessons from the age of four and upwards, and provide pony rides from the age of only two! All our lessons have no maximum age limit, everyone is welcome 🙂

Horse riding is a brilliant way to get outside, get fit, meet like-minded horsey people and have fun!

For our younger riders horse riding helps you learn balance and stamina plus it makes you fitter. Horses also teach responsibility and patience.

For our older riders horse riding gives you new vitality, more bodily awareness and helps you regain stability and balance.

So, regardless of your age or experience why not give it a go?

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man. – Sir Winston Churchill
